Airport Information
Consider flying into Miami (MIA), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), or Key West (EYW). Flights are often more affordable in and out of Fort Lauderdale, but all three offer convenient options.
Getting Around
We recommend renting a car for travel to and from the airport. You won’t need a car for wedding events unless staying off-resort, but it’s the easiest way to explore and get around the Keys.

Frequently Asked Questions
Expect warm, sunny days with average highs in the mid-70s to low 80s °F and cooler evenings in the 60s. We recommend bringing layers for breezy nights and plenty of sunscreen for daytime fun.
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at The Cheeca Lodge, which is also where we’re hosting the wedding and staying ourselves. We recommend booking early to ensure availability. We've also recommended a few additional hotels, not reserved in a block, for our guests to also consider. Please review the Travel Page.
While not required, a car can be helpful if you plan to explore the Keys. Many guests opt to stay close to the resort and use ride shares or bikes for local travel. But do consider your travel to and from the airport which is where renting a car or sharing a car could be helpful. The airport is about 2 hours from The Cheeca Lodge.
